Anmol Mohara is an award winning drummer/ tabla player/composer born & raised in Nepal and currently living in London. His music blends Nepali culture & tradition with jazz and other groove-based genres pioneering a unique sound world. Influenced by renowned artists such as Trilok Gurtu, Karim Ziad, Oumou Sangare, Nitin Sawhney, Nana Vasconcelos, Brice Wassy, his mission is to present the traditional music from Nepal in a contemporary setting to the world. With the support from Arts Council England, PRS Foundation, Help Musicians and Youth Music, he is currently working on his debut album.
